Valve Sections
Greenhoe Valve Sections feature the patented Greenhoe rotary valve, providing unmatched response and clarity. They also feature Greenhoe Sonic Suspension which allows the valve tubing to float away from the bell with connection only to cross bracing, thus permitting the bell to vibrate more freely. Tubing in the valve section is available in both yellow (standard) and red brass (special order).
Handslide & Crook Alloys
Handslide and crook alloys have a direct effect on both the response and timbral characteristics of the instrument. Handslides come standard in yellow brass for GB4 & Gb5 models, and rose brass for GC4, GC4-TIS, GC5 & GC5-TIS models. Nickel Silver is available by special order. Greenhoe Handslide Crooks feature proprietary designs by Gary Greenhoe that improve response, color and evenness of sound & feel. Handslide crook material is nickel silver for all models, with yellow brass and red brass available by special order.
