Standard and Lexan Valve Caps

All Greenhoe trombones include standard valve caps (left). The Lexan Cap with Retaining Ring (right) changes the response characteristics of our trombones in a subtle and nuanced manner, giving the player a quicker response and lighter sound. Players often prefer our Lexan caps for more soloistic or chamber playing situations.

Rest Bars

Our custom rest bar is designed to help reduce strain on your hands, wrists, and forearms and is available in standard and large sizes. The larger size is meant to accommodate people with larger hands. However, most players will find that the standard size will work well for them.

Leadpipes

Our leadpipes are designed to give each player a range of options in timbral and response characteristics. All Greenhoe handslides come with two interchangeable yellow brass leadpipes, designed for each specific trombone model.

Greenhoe Leadpipe Materials Include:

Yellow Brass: Stable response and tone color. Our most popular option.
Gold Brass: Adds more color to the sound profile with softer articulations.
Red Brass: Darker tone with somewhat covered articulation.
Nickel Silver: Tremendous clarity with a dense, full tone.
