Press Release:

Schilke-Greenhoe-Website

Chicago, USA – June 14, 2016 – Andrew and Julie Naumann, Owners of Schilke Music Products, Inc. have announced the acquisition of Greenhoe Inc., a trombone manufacturing company. The purchase will combine the resources, technological innovations and instrument lines of two pillars of the brass world.

Gary Greenhoe founded Greenhoe, Inc. in 2001 after having assisted other instrument manufacturing companies with various trombone design projects. His patented rotary valve would revolutionize the industry, and Greenhoe was soon thereafter providing the trombone world with the highest quality trombones. With the acquisition by Schilke, Greenhoe trombones will once again be in production with the same specifications and standards as they were under the direction of Gary Greenhoe. Schilke will add the Greenhoe line of trombones to its own renowned catalog of trumpets, cornets, flugelhorns and tenor trombones.

“This acquisition represents both an extraordinary opportunity as well as an important responsibility to continue the legacy of Gary and Glenda Greenhoe by manufacturing their truly superlative trombones as originally designed. Schilke has long set the standard by which all brass instruments are measured, and the acquisition of Greenhoe pairs two companies with equally sterling reputations.  We are proud that we will be offering the Greenhoe line of trombones for sale through our worldwide network of Schilke Instrument Dealers,” said Michael Zielinski, Director of Sales for Schilke Music Products.
