Greenhoe Lever Information

Ergonomics are very important to us. We have spent many hours researching how one holds the trombone and we are committed to helping our customers play the instrument with a minimum of stess and effort. With this in mind, we offer two standard lever sizes and offer complete custom levers for any hand size or grip.

1. Standard size - This lever is somewhat larger than that of most trombones, as we have found that many players grasp the trombone in a way that promotes tension. By allowing the hand to "stretch out", more leverage is available to manipulate the valves and to hold the horn.
2. Large size - We build a "large" lever that accomodates very large hands, or regular sized hands that prefer the greater reach and freedom.
3. Custom size (upcharge) - No matter what your hand size, we can build a lever that will fit. Contact us with your particular needs and we will provide a solution for a fair price.
