Greenhoe Tuning Slide Configurations

The main tuning slide is an extremely sensitive part of the trombone regarding sound and response. Here are the options we can provide at this time:

Standard configuration. This is the same shape bow, with the same gender slide tube configuration as a Conn or Bach factory horn.
Open "reversed" configuration (upcharge). (Only offered on Bass trombones). We custom manufacture new neckpipe side tubes for both inner and outer slides, and arrange them in a more conical configuration. The inner tubes are tapered on the inside, providing the most conical setup for a standard tuning slide trombone.
